Tutorial i-Daftar bagi students UNISEL










SEMESTER REGISTRATION PROCEDURE (SENIOR STUDENTS)
VIA ON-LINE

A. GENERAL INFORMATION
1. The Semester Registration (Senior Students) for the Undergraduate Students and the Foundation
Year Students will be conducted via On-Line (Online) / i-Daftar on the UNISEL website
(www.unisel.edu.my).

2. i-Daftar Registration can be done in any place that has Internet access.

3. The Semester Registration Period (Senior Students) are as follows:
a) Foundation Year Students (01 – 03 October 2010) - 3 days
b) Undergraduate Students (12 - 21 November 2010) - 10 days

4. The information in relation to the Semester Registration Fees is available on the UNISEL website
and (www.unisel.edu.my ).

5. Students are required to pay the registration and outstanding fees before the Semester
September and November 2010 registration day (Please refer to or Finance Office to
obtain information on outstanding balances).


6. Students with the following status please call 03-3289 8660 / 03-3280 5020 (UNISEL Bestari
Jaya Campus) or 03-5513 4958 (UNISEL Shah Alam Campus) from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, Monday
to Friday or by e-mail: i_daftar@unisel.edu.my:-
a. Not active / not registered in the previous semester (without permission) - (ABSENT /
DORMANT)
b. Suspension of Studies (SUSPENDED);
c. the academic status of students' as ‘Failed’ [FAIL (FS) / EXPELLED].


B. IMPLEMENTATION
1. On-Line Registration Process / i-Daftar (Students can also refer to Appendix A)
a) The Semester Registration Fees can be made to Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB)
through the following methods:
i. Payment by bank-in counter at any BIMB branches:
Account No: 12038010051888. The account is in the name of the University Industri
Selangor, or
ii. The Finance Office Counter UNISEL in both campuses.


b) Log in to the UNISEL official website ( www.unisel.edu.my), click the i-Daftar icon, enter your
User ID and Password and click "Login".


c) Students with outstanding fees are required to pay (Kindly refer to or the Finance
Office to obtain information on outstanding balances) before being allowed to register.


d) Students with academic status as stated in 6 (a) are required to refer to Record Unit or the
respective faculty before allowed to register.

e) Key-in your Reference Number of the Bank-in Slip or University Receipt Number (if payment
made at UNISEL Finance Office). Students have to pay the Semester Registration Fees
and/or Resident Fees before proceed with the registration.


f) Click ‘Semester Registration” and after the completion of the registration process, the
students’ status will be automatically converted to "ACTIVE" status.


g) Print the i-Daftar Registration Slip, and please bring the i-Daftar registration slip with the
Reference Number of the Bank-in Slip or University Receipt Number when you register
(check-in) at students’ residence or as a proof of payment when dealing with the university.


h) Click on "Logout" to end the process.



C. LATE REGISTRATION
1. Students who register after the semester registration session, WILL BE FINED (LATE
REGISTRATION) as the rate specified in the UNISEL Academic Regulations’ Book.


2. Students are not allowed to register and were advice to Differ Studies after the registration period
end:-
a) Foundation Year Students (15 October 2010, Friday)
b) Undergraduate Students (13 December 2010, Friday)


D. RESPONSIBILITY
1. Students need to renew their ‘student status’ at the beginning of each semester during the study
period because the university will not issue a letter of reminder.
